LIHEAP Heating Assistance Now Open for the 2025–2026 Season
Good news for Pennsylvania households!
The 2025/2026 LIHEAP (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program) season is officially open as of December 3rd. If you or someone you know needs help paying for home heating costs, LIHEAP may be able to assist.
LIHEAP provides free financial assistance to eligible households—this is not a loan and does not need to be repaid.
How to Apply for LIHEAP
If you did not submit a pre-season application, you can now apply in the following ways:
